​The Vic Sahagun Scholarship is awarded to a Whiting High School senior student-athlete who demonstrates the same qualities that Vic lived by: hard work, dedication, passion and commitment. The recipient is required to write an essay which is reviewed by the board of the scholarship fund and submit letters of recommendation.
